We lost one girl 2 hrs after birth. And another girl on the 3rd night (fading puppy syndrome). After that we found symptoms on the others of canine herpes (on dogs it’s like a flu virus). Although we cannot be certain what is causing the symptoms, we rather be safe than sorry, and treat the puppies as if they have Herpes.
We are still fighting for our 4 puppies to survive, but as they start to open their eyes and grow very nicely, we do have bigger hopes for them now! (day 11)”
