This weekend two annual meetings took place.
First there was this new club of breed. It’s created for breeds in SvVK (Swedish special club for sighthounds), that are low in numbers. 8 breeds will be cared for by this new club: Azawakh, Cirneco, Podenco Ibicenco, Magyar Agar, Sloughi, podenco canario, Galgo Español and Chart Polski.
The idea is to make it possible for owners of these breeds to work together even though they are too few to start their own club.
I was elected as chairman for this new club, and I’m humbled by your trust in me. I have a good feeling about the future for this club!
The second meeting was for SPKK (the Swedish club of breed for Prazsky Krysarik).
I have been the chairman for SPKK since the club started in 2006, and I’m so happy that finally after more than 5 years, I could give the mallet to a new chairman. 😀
I will still be a board member, and I look forward to see how the new chairman works, and will have lots to do with my mission in the new club.
I cannot tell you how much I admire ALL people that works in non-profit organizations. Without you, there would be NO dogshows, NO agility, NO freestyle etc etc. Cudos to ALL of you!
