Updated 23/11 with judges comments! We packed the camper for a weekend in Herning, Denmark – me, Britzyk, Renata and a total of 8 dogs. We were pretty nervous all three of us, since we were heading for no less than 2 winner shows: Danish and Nordic Winner 2012!We took the early ferry to be on the showground on friday evening, got a decent place for the camper and had a really calm and cosy evening with good food, some vine and for once had time for: manicure! 😉 We had previously emailed to DKK to ask them to keep our breeds separated in time in the breed judging, because we planned to help each other showing. Renata brought the 2 ACD’s Junior and Mania and Gizmo the kelpie, I had Lava, Loke and Leo, and Britzyk had a Divo the minpin and Keiron. But of course, DKK managed to give us about the same starting times both days, and in completely different halls (and the fair center is BIG), even though sunday was the worst.

CdE was first in the ring both days. On saturday (Danish Winner) we had the Romanian judge Roberto Schill.

Since Renata had Kelpie at the same time, Yvonne (who showed Nizze in intermediate class) helped me with Leo. So, the brothers in baby class, all got VERY PROMISING with Loke as BOB-baby!

Nizze was the only male, he got CC, CAC and CACIB and the title. There was also a cute junior bitch entered, handled
by Bjorn Erling Loken, who got exc and CC.

Enter Lava in Champion class (although competing for the CAC) – and she was great. Moved super and wowed the judge. 🙂 Exc and CC, and in Best Bitch she ran to victory! Weeii! With the CAC and CACIB, she became Danish Champion and with that also NORDIC champion! And with the CACIB, she also earned her INTERNATIONAL champion title! (To be confirmed by FCI of course). AND she got the Danish Winner 2012 title as well!! Wohooo! 😀

After that it was time for BOB/BOS, and Lava won!  Great start of the day! 😀 But no time to celebrate, Britzyk ran to show a pekingese, and I had to run to the ACD ring and show the cattledogs. When I got there, it was still the breed before, still a few dogs not judged. Phew! Went outside to cool off after the run, but 30 seconds after I went outside, another dog owner came running and said it was time to get into the ring!! Gaaah! So I ran inside and took the number on top of Juniors cage, looked at it and realized that it was a later number than the ones called for in the ring. I thought that it must be junior class in the ring then, and stood by the ring side to wait. But then they called for Veteran class?! Something was wrong, and I looked in the catalogue: WRONG NUMBER! I had Manias number! Junior missed his entry. =( =(

He still got a critique, but couldn’t be placed since the class was already judged. The judge was really sad that she couldn’t give him the CC as she wanted. =( Mania didn’t get CC, don’t really know why, since the critique was really god. =/ Ok, so now running again to the Kelpie ring, got there just in time to see Renata running in BOB/BOS competition with Gizmo, who was BOS. No time to relax and be happy though, just a quick glass champagne to celebrate the first wins of the day, and then back to the first hall again to cheer on Britzyk and Divo. Divo  was entered in junior class, and he was clearly the best of the junior males (IMHO), he really moves with an outstanding stride! But the judge somehow didn’t see that, and Divo got Exc but no CC. =(

Quick lunch in the caravan and then it was time for finals!

Loke first out in Baby BIS, he behaved SO well, but there was a LOT of baby’s and only 4 places (no shortlisting in ANY final at this show). =( Loke wasn’t placed. Lava also did a good job, but no placing for her either. But some friends did really well: Jessika J and her Berner, Isabel and the OES Puyol and Jenny with pharaoh Qonjak all won their groups! =) And Britzyk, Renata and I did a good job in the audience by cheering them on.

In the exciting BIS-final (judged by dear Fernando), Isabel’s OES was BIS-3! And Jenny’s pharaoh WON!!! Whohooo, GO SWEDEN!! 😀 Tired after a long day, we went to the camper again for dinner and went to bed quite early.

Day 2: Nordic Winner show! Day started off just like the day before, only this time all our breeds was first in their rings, in different halls of course. Hilde Fredriksen (who won the Junior Handling competition one of the days) showed Keiron, and my dear friend Jessica Snäcka showed Leo. Judge was Anette Bystrup, Denmark.

Results was exactly the same as the day before, both for puppies and adults: Loke BOB-baby and Lava BOB and NORDIC WINNER 2012!!! Wohooo! Britzyk didn’t show Divo this day, so we went to cheer on Renata and the ACD’s. That was a highlight of the weekend: first Junior won best male, and then Mania won best bitch! So Britzyk took Mania in the BOB/BOS and Junior was BOB! Wohooo!! Congrats dear Renata to a stunning “Working Mates”-dog!

The finals went on as the day before, but I must say I was really disappointed in the judge in Baby-BIS: He actually shortlisted the dogs in the prejudging ring! That is an awful way to judge. We were MANY participants, and we all felt like “Why should we even go into the main ring?!”
=(

So, no placings for us in the finals, but some Swedish success this day too: Qonjak BOG-2 and another good friend, Ia, won Group 5 with her Xolo!! She didn’t place in the BIS, but it was still Sweden in top with the white standard poodle “Miles” and Mikael. Miles also won top dog in Denmark 2012, and Qonjak placed 4th in top dog of the year! Congrats to you all!

A great weekend is over. We went home with 8 titles on our dogs (Lava took 5 of them).
THANK YOU all friends & judges for days to remember!!
I already miss my “Gangnam-girls”…
